Man injured in Swedish sex shop attack

STOCKHOLM, Sweden -- An explosive device detonated in a sex shop in southwestern Sweden early Monday and one man was slightly injured, police said.

The explosion occurred at 1:30 a.m. (0030GMT) inside the adult store in Goteborg, Sweden's second biggest city.

"We suspect that an explosive device was thrown into the shop, but we have to wait for the technicians' report before we can be certain," police spokesman Per-Olof Johansson said.

The shop was closed when the explosion happened. A man who was inside at the time was slightly injured and treated at the scene. There was also some material damage, Johansson said.

Witnesses told police they saw one or two people running from the scene, but there were no arrests, Johansson said.

Goteborg is about 480 kilometers southwest of the capital, Stockholm. (AP)
